I'm okay with the fix-a-flat, just in case I'm in the middle of nowhere. Otherwise there's Roadside Assistance available on the App, and I have AAA.

What I worry about is that the tire can not be filled or repaired, and now you have to get towed to a tire store and buy a new tire. That's ok if your around town, but not on the road. And if you got the tire insurance, I am guessing you just can't buy a tire and get reimbursed. You would have to go somewhere. I purchased an Acura without a spare, and the first thing I did was buy one.
That being said, the last time I got a flat that could not be fixed and had to put on a spare was 10 years ago and that was a rental car. And before that, maybe 30 years ago. So I guess there is not much to sweat.

I have same issue with my 2023 GV80- can’t figure it out.
When I first got my car I had this issue. I think what it was is that the front speakers would cut out to give me some info like driving directions. But The sound for the info was turned down so all that happened was the speakers from the radio would cut out. Might not be your issue, but it was what fixed if for me.

Well, that seems silly - only traffic with Nav? Genesis is assuming that I need NAV every time I drive. My brother has a 2022 Optima Prestige and his traffic appears on the map (no NAV). The 2019 Lincoln I traded in on this GV80 had traffic on the map (no nav). You would think a vehicle that is considered luxury would have features lesser vehicles have.

Not a very good 'feature' - thanks for the reply
But if the car does not know where you are going, how can it tell you the traffic ahead?

The DDMS (Driver Monitoring System) in the Genesis vehicle can be perceived as annoying by some drivers due to false alerts and the possibility of being overly intrusive. These systems are designed to ensure driver attentiveness, but if they are too sensitive or provide inaccurate warnings, they can be distracting or frustrating.
I have read a lot of complaints about the 25 model. They must have boosted up the nanny features over the years. I have a 21 and those things are not a factor for me. Something for me to think about if I want to get a new one, but I think this will be my last GV80. The car is great, and my dealer is good, but just due to the horror service issues I have read about on these pages, I get scared.

4 month old GV-80 died this morning. I had been warned not to buy a GV-80 exactly because of this problem. It sucked the power from two chargers and will not start. Had to have it towed in. I also could not get the car into neutral by pushing the button next to the rotary shift. I had a BMW in 2000 that had similar problems and after 7 times to the shop I sued BMW to get another car. I am getting the same feeling about this one. It is terrible to drive a car with electrical/software problem. Guess I will see how this works out. If it happens again I will definitely be speaking to a Lemon lawyer.
There is a chance your car did not get the update that had pretty much solved this issue.
I hope you get it worked out.
