For my last three builds I have always found a section to highlight as I went my build. As I am new here I do not see that nor do I want to post in the wrong arena. Heck there may not be any interest but I personally like to keep track and am excited to see where I am as opposed to where I was. Please if you know where to post, let me know.
Is there a section where as you mod you can list it ?

Just received my CF side view mirror caps from South Korea - the finish not quite the same as my ADRO front lip and rear diffuser. My detail shop is going to PPF the caps and if I don’t like them will can always remove. As it stands have appointment Monday to finally powder coat my calipers - going with Prismatic Powder lollypop red mixed with Super chrome- excited to see final project. Also working on obtaining AIMBAN cushions for GV80 and waiting on carbon fiber steering wheel ordered back in December. As for my really big Hail Mary - going to see if somehow possible to “Frankenstein” GV60 Crystal Orb shifter into my GV80.. spoke to a Genesis tech up in Canada - CAN system different - he didn’t think possible and probably the worst money I will spend but I have to know for myself- if I never try I’m always going to wonder.

Shucks I’ve also ordered CF mirror caps to compliment all of my ADRO CF installed. Is there anyway that you can post some photos of the caps ? Also if mine don’t match the caliper of quality of the ADRO then they will go into the pile. Carbon fiber wheel, you’ve got me there, care to share ?

Unfortunately I didn’t take pics of the CF mirror caps- I dropped them off to detailing shop yesterday as I went to discuss/ make sure all set for calipers and powder coating next week. While there shop will try and see if can PPF ADRO front and rear CF- besides protection would give it more of a “wet/glossier look and match the CF caps better. The steering wheel I’ve purchased from an eBay seller though I’m still yet to receive the steering wheel. I don’t have any pics other than what’s on eBay - seller let me know supposedly factory doing CF steering wheel is a contractor and does same for BMW - I can’t vouch for any of that but that’s what was told to me. Promised to send me pics once the CF steering wheel is complete so I will post then - hopefully sooner than later. Also planning havjng ceramic window tint for driver and passenger side done next week - just in time to keep the heat out as the days will get warmer/hotter soon.

You are gonna be happy - have that set / I found the quality to be excellent and once you apply emblem adhesive is very strong.

Good to know and thank you for following and commenting. For awhile I thought I was the only one reading about my postings. Oh also because I live where dictators rule, I needed a solution to not having a front plate. Not the best but it will keep me legal. I have a front tow hook license plate holder set to arrive and install.

My shop was able to “save” my license plate retractor after installing the ADRO CF front lip; they had to modify the bracket to make it work/ provide clearance when opening/closing. I’ve been fortunate so far that I haven’t had an issue with the plate down when driving - which I do because otherwise have constant sensor beeping/ warning. Unfortunately there was no way to install without a sensor being blocked- and I have gotten a lot of compliments on the James Bond look. I actually saw a GV80 in my neighborhood- almost identical to mine- don’t see too many actually - and when I saw the front plate mounted just totally kills the look of the Genesis grille in my opinion. Please post pic when you get it installed as I’m curious to see where it will mount and wonder if you will have any sensor issues.

I will and if I do, it will come off asap and I’ll deal with taking my chances. Sadly where I live there are two Genesis my GV80 and my wife’s GV70. Sometimes we put both in the driveway to confuse the neigh as they thought we only had the one.
