For my last three builds I have always found a section to highlight as I went my build. As I am new here I do not see that nor do I want to post in the wrong arena. Heck there may not be any interest but I personally like to keep track and am excited to see where I am as opposed to where I was. Please if you know where to post, let me know.
Is there a section where as you mod you can list it ?

I have a glossy black OEM emblem I bought from South Korea / have GENESIS lettering and tear emblems in black as well if I decide to change over to match carbon fiber lip kit. But have to say I love my front lighted OEM emblem - looks great on my white GV80 in my opinion. I added an OEM G80 emblem that also lights up white and when I brake then turns red -acts as a brake light.

Had to drill small hole to fish wires through - wired to brake lights. I purchased the emblem from RPMTrade - great source to acquire items from South Korea. The only other GV80 I saw with a rear emblem the person actually attached to their rear glass - they removed the rear wiper blade / I guess they didn’t want to drill through the trunk but I didnt care for that look. Below are pics showing OEM G80 emblem mounted on rear hatch kit up both white and then red when the brake is engaged.

Thank you for posting this as it’s really giving me great ideas. You say it’s an oem lighted hood emblem, but I’m not seeing this on the Genesis website.

It purchased it from seller from South Korea - unfortunately unlike Mercedes or BMW, Genesis doesn’t yet offer a lighted emblem for its models to the best of my knowledge.

I purchased the emblem from my South Korean contact: rpmtradekorea@gmail.com. He has an eBay store as well - under RPMTRADE - but can get better pricing if deal with him directly. Still, I would say check out his eBay store for ideas. He is super reliable- I have received anything I ever purchased for him within 3 days from South Korea - including my power step color matched to my GV80.

RPMTRADE modified OEM Genesis badge to light up. Can light up White, red or both. I chose to only wire for white light as being in front hood wanted light to match paint. Thought red wouldn’t make much sense for the hood but then that’s me. The rear emblem made sense to me to wire both up.

I followed your link but according to this, it won’t fit my vehicle.It fit my 2023 GV80 perfectly -so unless Genesis changed the front emblem for 2024 model year you should have no issue. I would recommend you reach out to RPMTRADE. View attachment 3919
